EUMOL Lab

EUMOL Lab is a training course (20 teaching hours), taught in Italian and addressed to the university students as well as to consumer associations and policymakers. Elective course.

The Objective of EUMOL LAB: it aims to introduce the course participants to the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanism and trends in the field of onlien payments. The ADR concerned is Arbitro Bancario e Finanziario (ABF), set up in Italy to deal with, among other things, the disputes between the payment service providers and the payment service users, based on the legislative degree n. 11/2010, implementing in Italy the PSD2. Study materials uploaded on moodle platform.

Main topics:

  1. Arbitro Bancario e Finanziario (ABF): what it is and it works;
  2. Analysis of a selected number of ABF case on online payments, especially by means of credit cards, credit transfers and direct debits, using a role-playing approach;
  3. Meeting some members of ABF committee in order to discuss their professional exeperience.
